A celebration of the brass, wind and percussion from the 成人快手 SSO brings vibrant and colourful musical fireworks to the Pickaquoy Arena. Copland鈥檚 well-loved 'Fanfare for the Common Man' is complemented by Joan Tower鈥檚 response for the Uncommon Woman and Stravinsky鈥檚 highly coloured music inspires the Hommage by Ole Schmidt. The evening comes to an explosive conclusion with Handel鈥檚 brilliant dance suite written for King George II to celebrate the end of war.
The concert will be recorded for future broadcast on 成人快手 Radio 3.
