Kendal-based art-rockers Wild Beasts were firm, public supporters of 6 Music in 2010 when the station almost faced closure.
They originally formed at school in 2002, as a duo called Fauve (the French term for wild beast), expanding to a four-piece and recording their first demos in 2004.
Their three albums to date have won them acclaim from fans and critics with a Mercury Prize nomination for 2009's Two Dancers.
Their fourth album Present Tense (described by the band as "more melodic and pop") is due just a few days before their Victoria Warehouse set for 6 Music so this will be one of the first chances to hear the new material live before they head out on tour through March and April.
