Sound of Cinema presenter and film expert Matthew Sweet shares his passion for the great heritage that is Dickens on the screen with a characterful programme of film music performed by the 成人快手 Concert Orchestra from classics such as David Lean鈥檚 Oliver Twist and Cavalcanti鈥檚 Life and Times of Nicholas Nickleby, as well as Malcolm Arnold and Rachel Portman鈥檚 scores for David Copperfield, Lionel Bart鈥檚 Oliver!, Carl Davis鈥檚 Our Mutual Friend, Patrick Doyle鈥檚 Great Expectations and Debbie Wiseman鈥檚 recent Dickensian. There will also be music by Christopher Willis from Armando Iannucci鈥檚 new film The Personal History of David Copperfield, and the chance to hear the composer talk to Matthew Sweet about his music.
