Bat For Lashes collaborator David Kosten produced Sherwell鈥檚 debut EP, Love Somebody, the title track from which became a firm favourite of Lauren Laverne鈥檚 on 6 Music show last year. With wondrous follow-up single, Islander - played by 成人快手 DJs across the country and included on a Tom Robinson Fresh on the Net mixtape - Sherwell looked back to her upbringing in Guernsey. More recently, she released Pale Lung, which you may have heard of Huw Stephens鈥檚 show in May. A full, Kosten-produced album is due post-Glastonbury and couldn鈥檛 be better timed - Sherwell鈥檚 dreamy, emotional music is just what鈥檚 needed in these austere times.
