American conductor Joshua Weilerstein joins the orchestra for an exciting programme that includes a variety of short works by composers past and present from around the world. We begin our journey with a twentieth century take on the six- part Ricercare from Bach鈥檚 Musical Offering, take in Ethel Smyth鈥檚 portrait of the cliffs of Cornwall and end with the UK premiere of The Light That Fills The World by John Luther Adams.
