St David's Day
Join Wales’ national orchestra in a concert to celebrate our patron saint. Soprano Rebecca Evans with up and coming artists, Joshua Owen Mills and Charlie Lovell-Jones celebrate Wales’ rich cultural heritage with the music of Paul Mealor, Karl Jenkins, Ivor Novello and Morfydd Owen.
Winner of the Urdd National Eisteddfod’s composer medal and one of the most promising young violinists in the UK, Charlie Lovell Jones brings both skills to the stage in a special performance with Rebecca of a new composition.
Please note:
We’re sorry to announce that Gareth Jones is unable to conduct this performance due to illness. However, we are delighted that our Chorus’s Artistic Director, Adrian Partington, will replace Gareth on the Conductor's podium.
