Concert Information

Join the orchestra in the magnificent setting of Leeds Town Hall for an evening of Italian music.

Opening the programme with Verdi's melodramatic overture, the orchestra are joined this evening by Lucy Hall (soprano), 成人快手 New Generation Artist Kathryn Rudge (mezzo), Peter Auty (tenor), Henry Waddington (bass), the Leeds Festival Chorus and their conductor Simon Wright.

This distinctly Italian flavoured evening also includes Puccini's immediately recognisable final masterpiece, Nessun Dorma, before closing with Rossini鈥檚鈥楲ittle Solemn Mass鈥�, Petite messe solomnelle. "One of the sins of my old age" was how Rossini described his piece - which, famously, is neither short nor solemn.
