He's worked with some big names during his many years in the music industry, but even by those standards these are exciting times for Derby's Baby J.

He was given the track to remix after a radio plugger friend recommended him to Sony who then got the thumbs-up from Ronson himself.

Baby J explained: "They wanted me to give it a black music feel which would work well on 成人快手 1Xtra and some of the other black stations.

"So I've tried to give it a reggae/soul feel and a bit of a summer vibe."

The producer also took the opportunity to give a couple of his long-term Derby-based collaborators Alex Blood and Rukus a break by featuring their vocals on the remix.

He said: "They originally wanted a version with just Amy's vocals but I talked them into letting me put the MC's on it.

"Mark listened to about six different remixes and said he liked ours and wanted it on the final product."

The video for the remix was shot in Derby city centre and has started receiving regular rotation on music television.

Meanwhile Baby J and his MCs have been invited on tour with Mark Ronson to perform their parts of the track live on stage.

Baby J explained: "It's been a really great experience getting out there and getting the exposure for me, Alex and Rukus.

"Plus my mum's really proud of me!"
