Two bands from Coventry have been chosen to appear at the 2007 Glastonbury Festival. The Ripps and Pint Shot Riot were picked by music experts from a field of over 100 bands to play on the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Introducing... stage at Glastonbury. A panel of judges including Steve Lamacq, Huw Stephens and Emily Eavis selected the 24 bands. ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Coventry & Warwickshire were one of only two local ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ stations to get more than one band chosen, which just goes to prove the huge amount of talent in our area. The ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Introducing... stage is brand new for 2007 at Glastonbury. The stage marks the launch of ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Introducing…, which will bring together new music shows across the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ, including ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Coventry & Warwickshire's Sounds programme. The Ripps
