Bedworth Scouts on the tough hike To celebrate 100 years of scouting the First Bedworth Scout Group decided to amass 100 scout group members to camp at Rough Close in Coventry. It didn’t seem like too difficult a task until they announced all the older members would have to get their on foot. For many this would be a walk of over seven hours. The challenge was split into four parts: • Explorers (age 14-18) - walk 13 miles from Bedworth to camp carrying full equipment One of the Beavers at Rough Close Assuming everyone arrived ok, the ambition was to take a group photograph of all 100 members gathered after their gruelling hikes. But it didn’t quite go to plan… Watch the video of the day to see how they got on. ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Coventry & Warwickshire will be joining other scout groups on 1 August 2007 for a special sunrise camp in the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Coventry Open Centre.
