Vanessa Casey in her video diary As if organising petitions, demonstrations, gigs and the media wasn't work enough, Vanessa Casey (Chair of the People's Protest Group) has made time to keep a video diary of her ongoing fight against the potential downgrading of her local hospital.  Live music to raise campaign awareness As soon as the review into health provision in Coventry and Warwickshire was announced, Vanessa organised a group to scrutinise and question its proposals. Her daughter was born at the George Eliot Hospital and could have died because of complications. She's passionate about the baby care at the Nuneaton hospital and this passion is evident in how hard she works. The protests have included a number of visits to London, awareness-raising demonstrations in key towns and free music nights to involve younger people in North Warwickshire.
