Jaffa Rose release the Second In Demand EP in October. The EP from our former Band Of The Month contains three tracks and will be launched at a party at the Jug and Jester in Leamington on the 8th of October. The six headed electro-jazz-rock beast that is Jaffa Rose formed at Warwick University and bring a variety of musical styles into their sax-fuelled jazz melting pot of sound. With each member influenced by a range of styles, Jaffa Rose never fail to intrigue and surprise, with the Second In Demand EP no exception. The new EP is the band's second and was recorded at Woodbine Street Studios in Leamington Spa, which has quite a history, as it is where The Specials recorded their legendary song Ghost Town. It contains three quite different tracks; Second In Demand, Tonight and Laid To Rest -听 each showing a different side of the band - soulful, funky and reflective.
