Nykita tells us about her accent If Coventry, South Warwickshire or North Warwickshire do indeed have their own accents, how are they changed by growing up with Western and Asian cultural influences? Kieran, Anita and Nykita all come from Asian families but have grown up, in the most part, in North Warwickshire. Voices interviewee Anita As well as looking at cultural differences, for example the use of Punjabi instead of English as a first language, the girls look at the vernacular employed by boys and girls and how terminology differs.
