Help playing audio/video Michael Kinsella was evacuated on Thursday During the day on Friday the Newquay to Par branch line remained shut and the main A-390 road was closed. The latter is usually an extremely busy road carrying traffic between Plymouth and St Austell. Throughout Thursday night and most of Friday there were no cars on that road.
