It's a busy time for Cornwall's James Morrison. On Sunday 1 July he shared the stage with the likes of Elton John, Rod Stewart, Kanye West and Take That at the Concert For Diana. There wasn't anytime to mix with the stars though. As soon as his spot at Wembley was done, James jumped on to a helicopter to fly up to his own forest gig. He was playing at The National Aboretum in Westonbirt, Gloucestershire on Sunday night. Today, Monday 2 July, sees James returns home to Cornwall. The singer who was once a busker in Truro City Centre will be singing in front of thousands at Eden Project. He is performing at the first official Eden Session of 2007. Like James, his support band Rushmore, also began their career busking in the street. Rushmore are supporting James Morrison The band were approached a few months back, by a man in Leicester Square. He claimed to be a Record Producer and seemed to be impressed with what he was hearing. That man turned out to be Craig Silvey who produced none other than the Magic Numbers. Catch Rushmore, and our very own James Morrison at the Eden Sessions tonight from 7.30pm. After the Eden gig, James heads back to the USA for a tour with double-Grammy award winner John Mayer throughout the rest of July and August. It's certainly a busy time for Cornwall's James Morrison.
