Outcome
Mr Masroor argued verbal attacks on Islamic groups had the effect of stigmatising the community at large. 聽When Mr Campbell challenged him about the activities of some extremists, Mr Masroor suggested that to cite their behaviour was to risk participating in commentary which he regarded as a smear. 聽The ECU considered the exchange was conducted in good humour and there was no evidence of the presenter pulling his punches. 聽The phone-in was time limited and Mr Campbell allowed an appropriate variety of views to be expressed.
