Many thanks to Lisa for providing the great behind-the-scenes polaroids in this gallery. Here's a little information about this unsung hero of British Comedy...

Hair and makeup designer Lisa Cavalli-Green joined Thames Television in 1978 where, for 12 years, she worked with comedy greats such as Morecombe & Wise, Benny Hill and Kenny Everett before starting a freelance career in 1990.

Lisa's experience includes film and television drama, commercials and comedy, where she has been responsible for creating the look of iconic characters such as Pauline Calf and Alan Partridge for Steve Coogan.

Lisa first worked with Matt Lucas on 'Shooting Stars' and David Walliams on 'Rock Profiles'; she subsequently went on to create the looks of all the characters in 'Little Britain', for which she received a B.A.F.T.A and 2 Royal Television Society Awards.

More recently she worked with Ricky Gervais on 'Extras' and in November 2005 Lisa won her third Royal Television Society Award for work Little Britain Series 2.
