Something strange has happened but I kinda like it!

Just realised my glasses are rose-tinted. I looked it up and it means that you see everything in a positive light. They make life seem perfect. I dropped them in my cauldron in potions class, they must have been magicked then? I really love life with the glasses on.... perhaps I’ll just never take them off?

Bea told me I need to get back to real life and sort my glasses out. Sybil was upset after we got our potions test results but I couldn’t see it because I was wearing the glasses - they don’t let me see any bad stuff. Goodbye happiness, goodbye joy.

Normal life is not so bad. At least I get to see my friends as they really are.

I knew she'd laugh if I said no, so I said I did. I wish I hadn't so badly and the next day my friends called me a liar! We did make up though! Official Clarice Twigg: Well met, IndigoOpalPoppy. Hmm, yes, Ethel made a similar blunder last week. Felicity got a new hat and Ethel claimed she had one just like it at home. That is, until it turned into a bat and landed on her. But have you ever been in that situation where someone makes a joke or a comment but you don't find it funny, so you do a little awkward laugh? Official Clarice Twigg: Well met, Mi_mum. All the time! Bea and Sybil must use a secret language, for all the sense they make. Sybil says I take things too seriously, but after my glasses accident, I know they prefer me as I am. My fake laugh sounds terrible, anyway\u2026
Zapcha replies: U17561394: I don't often fake things. However, once my friend asked me if I'd watched a TV programme, I told them yes. I regretted it when they asked me about a character and i didn't know what to say so I made up an answer. But my answer was wrong and it was quite embarrassing. Official Clarice Twigg: This happened to me yesterday! I was talking with Enid and Maud and they were excited because The Nightshades had just announced their new tour\u2026 I didn\u2019t understand what they were talking about, so I panicked and said that I loved ballet too. They couldn\u2019t stop laughing!
Zapchat replies: U17433528: My friend wrote a terrible story and I hadn't the heart to tell them. They were so sad when they lost the competition. Official Clarice Twigg: I would just tell my friend that the story was bad, but then again, I\u2019m better at Potion recipes than stories. Sybil\u2019s better at this kind of thing; she would probably give them suggestions on how to improve it, rather than point out what makes it terrible.
