I鈥檓 so excited about the Bat Hat!

The best thing about a Bat Hat is that nobody knows it鈥檚 a Bat Hat unless you use the Bat function, which I won鈥檛, unless it鈥檚 night time and all the teachers have gone to bed. I鈥檓 not technically allowed a Bat Hat in school!

So, Miss Cackle is keeping the Bat Hat in her room, but now that I know how to use it, I鈥檓 allowed to take it out for demonstrations. (The only person I taught how to use it is Maud. I thought it only fair). Always read the instruction manual, hags!

I love sleepovers, especially at Cackle\u2019s! At least I used to... This year, we tried to have a midnight feast but Miss Tapioca put a protection spell on the pantry and the alarm woke up the whole castle! Before we could hide, Miss Hardbroom caught us... I think I would have preferred to forget my pyjamas!

He loves to wander off for days at a time but he eats the mackerel tails I leave out for him overnight, so I know he\u2019s safe. I hope you manage to train your cat in the end. Pocus will do anything for a mackerel tail!
Zapchat replies: birthday-cake: Felicity, if you wait for something, then you have time to get excited about it and you'll probably enjoy it more. Sometimes, when you do something too early, you don't enjoy it because you don't know how to do it properly. The basic moral is: read the instructions! Miss Cackle told me that patience is a virtue and that I\u2019ll learn to appreciate the Bat Hat more if I only wear it for special occasions.

I found out that the post was in the mail box so I ran over to it and managed to break it. I had to pay my parents back with my pocket money. Lesson learnt, always be patient! I asked Miss Drill so often about when the post would arrive that she started avoiding me in the corridors!

Sometimes she\u2019s in such a hurry, I don\u2019t think her feet touch the floor\u2026 Then she always ends up bumping into Miss Hardbroom!

That\u2019s why I put a cat tracker in my front pocket, so I can always find it! Phew!
