Maud's Diary: Time for a makeover?

Everyone thinks I'm the serious sensible one, maybe I do look a bit serious and sensible wearing the same bunches all the time.

Have you tried switching up your look? How did it go?

Maud's Diary replies: U17635245: Well met, Maud! I tried wearing a frilly dress but I looked a bit too girly, I just didn\u2019t look like how I would look. I like wearing jeans and jumpers, they suit me more! Official Maud Spellbody: Well met! You should wear what you are comfortable in! I love my cardigans and jumpers, especially at Cackle\u2019s because it\u2019s a draughty, big castle. I don\u2019t like fussy frills or flounces, I prefer something more practical, I think!

I'm going to cut my hair soon and I know everyone at my school will be shocked! Try not to worry about what other people think and go with the flow! Just because I\u2019ve got a reputation for being the sensible one doesn\u2019t mean I don\u2019t have fun. I\u2019ve got nothing to prove, I should just be myself.
Maud's Diary replies: FantasticBubberlyFox: In class I'm very quiet but then out of class I'm very loud so I don't really know what label I come under. My hair is very curly and so it's a bit of a handful to control! I did straighten it once and then no-one recognised me but that was kind of fun to be able to try being someone else for a change. Official Maud Spellbody: Enid is the same, she\u2019s very quiet in class\u2026 Especially Potions. But that\u2019s usually because she\u2019s forgotten her homework! Outside in the corridors, she\u2019s her usual loud self again. Maybe you just take your classes very seriously? I don\u2019t think there\u2019s anything wrong with that at all!
Maud's Diary replies: U17616923: I change my style all the time, sometimes I look like a clown but I\u2019m just testing to check what I look best in. I think it is good to change hair, face, clothes and all that or everyday would be boring. Official Maud Spellbody: Well met! I took your advice and tested out a couple of my new looks, just for fun. Mildred loved the plaits (of course!) and Enid liked my high pigtails. She even suggested new ribbons! It was fun, but I\u2019m going to stick with my own hair style, I think. Much better!
Maud's Diary replies: snowy: I tried to makeover my friend and she just looked great in everything. I liked the blue hair though on your clip, maybe you could wear it for Halloween? Official Maud Spellbody: Well met, snowy. You must be a good friend! I thought the blue hair was too strange for everyday wear, but I like your idea to use it for a costume! I could dress up like a mermaid and enchant the air around me to be filled with bubbles! What do you think?
Maud's Diary replies: dramaticus: I tried on some blusher, but even though I couldn't really see it, I could still feel it and I felt fabulous! Official Maud Spellbody: Well met, dramaticus. Just because you might not be able to see the difference, doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s not there! Good for you! My cheeks are usually red when I make a mistake in class or after witch ball tournaments, so I don\u2019t think I need blusher just yet.
Maud's Diary replies: charmbracelet: I hated my hair getting done because it was such a painful process but then I cut my hair and had an afro, I kinda liked it like that. Official Maud Spellbody: I know what you mean! My mum used to put my hair in pigtails for me and although she was very careful, she could still pull it sometimes by accident. Ouch! Now I do my own hair, it\u2019s much better!
