Elina is the oldest living vampire of all clans. She survived all of the clan wars but lost many of her loved ones, including her own daughter, Alisa and Tammo's mother. She is hardened by these losses but tries to do right by her clan and her grandchildren.

Milton is head of the Vyrad clan and guardian to Malcolm. He can manipulate the elements which comes in handy when he is aboard the Elisabetha.

Claudio is the head of the Nosferas clan and headmaster of the Elisabetha's vampire school. As father to Luciano and husband to Contessa Viola, he feels much pressure to protect his family and the other students.

Viola is wife to Conte Claudio and mother to Luciano. She is charismatic, warm and beautiful, but hides a warrior's ferocity. Long ago, she fought battles in the clan wars, but now uses her fearless instincts to cast a maternal eye on the Elisabetha, keeping her son and the other heirs safe.

Audrey is the leader of the Pyras clan, and mother to young Joanne. She is a well liked lady amongst the other vampires and has a good sense of humour.
