About me

Well, here she is! Your 成人快手 Bradford and West Yorkshire Blast reporter for 2007, Faye Kenny. So you want to know about me? I'm 20 years of age, about to go into my third year studying acting at LIPA (The Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts.) But back for the summer reporting on all things arty in and around Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield for Blast!

'My first love has to be food!'

I think my first love has to be food, yes food, although, as a child I was a very fussy eater resulting in being paid 30p to taste pesto. I really couldn't say my favourite dish as there is so many, but to name a few cous cous, Moroccan lamb, roasted sweet potatoes, curried goat, fajitas, banoffee pie - the list goes on!

I love my music, soul, reggae, hip hop anything that I can dance to or relate to in their lyrics. I love to sing, dance and act, meet new people, visit different places and I love to play practical jokes, so beware!

Dislikes

Pigeons. I can't stand them invading my personal space; I think I caught this fear from my sister, a fellow pigeon hater. I am allergic to dogs, so don't like them as they make my eyes itch and nose run. I also don't have much time for ignorant people, and people who judge a book by its cover.

Aspirations

I would like to finish my degree, 2009 here I come! I'm not sure what career I would like to have when I finish, as I am interested in so many different things. I just dream to be successful and not be bored in my job.

What I'll be doing for Blast

When I applied for this position and saw what Blast did, I knew I had to be a part of it somehow. Blast is a voice for young people in the UK, who are into the arts, not just the singing and dancing, but fashion design, graffiti, film and games. These are all things that I'm interested in. I'd like to make the most of my placement here by using film and photography in my reports as well as listening to what you would like to see and hear, so if you have any suggestions don't hesitate to contact me.
