Can you tell me a bit more about your menstrual cycle?
It's a bad enough question from one woman to another, but what happens when it's your boss who's asking you? Women working in India's civil service were outraged to find and maternity leave on employment forms.
I've just spoken to one, Charmari in Mumbai. She's disgusted at the move. But Prahlad, an employer of 15 women in his advertising firm, keeps tabs on the menstrual cycles of the women in his office. We'll be talking to them both on the programme.
And we're not just talking "women's problems" here. We want to know if you've been asked to reveal information at work that you were unhappy with sharing. Things about your health, disability, smoking, military service, religious or political affiliation were suggestions in the office. And what about mandatory drugs testing?
What does your employer have a right to know and what do you have a right to keep to yourself?
