The "big one" as far as I can see is going to be George Bush's announcement on the . Now, the announcement isn't due till 02:00am GMT but so much of the statement has been leaked we've got a good idea what he's going to say. President Bush is expected to tell Americans that another 20,000 troops are to be sent to Baghdad and the restive Anbar province. As you can imagine, the Democrats aren't to happy about this and plan to oppose what they see as an "escalation" of the war in Iraq. What do you think? Is Bush right to send more troops to Iraq? Oo should he be going the other way and bringing US soldiers home?
On yesterday's show we had an overwhelming response to US bombing of Somalia story. Should we be revisiting it? There's still plenty to talk about. As I write, there's some breaking news about a story that we've covered on World Have Your Say in the past. The mother of schoolgirl has dropped her claim for custody of her daughter. The 12-year-old, also known as Molly Campbell, left Scotland without her mother's consent last August to be with her father, Sajad Rana. It's believed the stress of the case has led to Misbha's mother, Louise Campbell, dropping the claim for custody. What do you make of this story? Should Misbha been allowed to have left in the first place? Could you see this inspiring other children to just up and leave whenever they like?
I'm not sure how much known outside of the UK, but for those that don't know she's being tipped as Prince William's future wife. The reason I bring her up is because in recent days paparazzi in the UK have been taking rather a lot of pictures of her. Clarence House have asked newspaper editors not to publish pictures from these photographers () and the Prince himself has said she needs a police escort. But what do you think, should she be afforded the same protection as other royals? She's only Prince William's girlfriend after all. Or should everything be done to avoid another , whose life was dogged by the men with the long lenses? .
