Rabiya Parekh | 11:56 UK time, Monday, 4 December 2006

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan
Good afternoon one and all. A few things have caught our attention today, but as always it's an open agenda, so if there is something you think we should be talking about, get in touch and tell us.

Kofi Annan

The out-going Secretary General of the , is preparing to give up his post at the end of the year and has given an on a wide range of topics.

Giving a special interview to the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ's Lyse Doucet he talked about the worsening situation in Iraq and said that Iraq had become much worse than a civil war, and urged his successor, South Korean Ban Ki-moon, to "do it his way".

He also talked about , pledging to work towards a solution, which Sudan's government has , until his very last moment in office.

On the programme today, we want you to give us your assessment on Mr Annans leadership over the last ten years. Has he done enough in his role? Could he have done more? Has he been a success or a failure?

You can post your comments now, and please leave us your contact details if you would like to take part in the show. Or email us direct.

Philippines

We also hope to hear from people in the Philippines today, where more than after a typhoon triggered devastating mudslides that has swamped several villages.

We really need your help on this. If you have family or friends in the area that have been in touch with, you we want to hear from you and them. How are they coping? What are the like? Is enough being done?

Diana's car

And a story that caught David's attention today is about the man who owns the limo which Princess Diana was killed in nine years ago. .

He thinks he'll make over a million pounds for it. Jean Francois Musa is quoted as saying "It is an exceptional wreck " and he wants it back. He says he might sell it to a museum.

Should he be allowed to turn it in to a tourist attraction? If it ends up in a museum - is it something you would want to see? Post your comments now.
