Today you can speak to Waheed Abdul Khan. He's a 34 yr old Pakistani national and he came to UK when he was 3, in 1978. In 2003 he pleaded guilty to his part in a heroin smuggling plot. He was released half way through a 7 year jail sentence for good behaviour. The ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Office wanted to deport him. Khan appealed & won. The European Court of Human Rights yesterday said he had no ties with Pakistan - and deporting him would breach his right to a family life.
