I'm confused. I really want to audition but it says you have to be available for full time filming. I'm 16 though and doing my Alevels. I do have some study leave but otherwise I would end up missing a lot of school. What can I do? I really want to audition!

In the Terms and Conditions it says you must be between 16-21 on the day of your audition. What if your 21 on the day of the first audition but have turned 22 by the recalls?

Sorry, I'm not going to be much help, but I just wanted to say that I had the same problem. I'm doing my GCSEs and I would miss a lot of school for it - plus I live nowhere near London and my parents couldn't come with me. I've decided not to do it, but I wish they'd make the application more understandable.

Hello! To answer you George and Newagecomedienne, the situ is that if you are 16 years old and you are taking your A levels, you may still apply for the full time filming job in London.

However, if you are doing your GCSEs, you MUST obtain a performance license from the LEA in order to get the part. This is because A levels aren't mandatory but GCSEs are! If you don't have one of these, we won't be able to see you - sorry.

Auditionee - what's important is that you fall into the required age bracket on the day of your audition, so if you're 22 by the recalls, that's fine.

Hope this helps y'all :) Gooood luck!! x

Hi I would really love to audition but i'm still confused about whether I should audition because i am still doing my a-levels and worried about 'this full time' aspect (how many hours is full time) but I really want to do it I'm just not sure if they would be flexible.

Hiyyyya! Okay, so I've done some investigation and basically joining the cast of The Cut is a full time job. You will be expected to film full time for two weeks every 5 weeks or so - this means you wouldn't not be able to sit A levels at the same time. Hope this helps :) xx

    Hi,
I'm 17 and I live in South London so I'm not worried about the travelling at all. But I'm in the second year of my A-levels, I really want to audition but I can't miss too much school so close to my exams and I definitely can't miss any of my exams. Is there any point in me auditioning?

Hi I am 16 and have already applied online. Is there any point of me auditioning as it will be so close to my exams, taking into consideration that this will be a good and big opportunity to show my talent?
