Springwatch team's late April Flickr favourites
As the weather heats up outdoors, so does the pressure in Springwatch Towers. It's less than a month before we'll all be shipping out to Norfolk to set up our production village amongst Pensthorpe's beautiful barns.
The team love taking a few moments away from work to look through your incredible photography and have chosen their favourites from the last few weeks.
The Webbies loved the contrasting patterns of these mating adders and were amazed by their choice of bed: a gorse bush!
Producer Hannah chose this peacock butterfly capture for its beautiful vivid colours.
Researchers Lucy and Ruth chose these sand martins because they think the image demonstrates how well camouflaged these birds really are on banks.
The Management Menagerie felt refreshed by this unique image. They said it made them want to jump in.
I chose this fabulous action shot of a hare with a spring in his step. It must know that Springwatch is coming back soon!
The Specials team loved this character and his reflection.
Simon's Squad commended photographer John for capturing a glimpse of this elusive predator on the hunt.
Level-headed Joe thought this cute newt was the bee's knees!
Which of these catches your eye and why? Let us know below.
As always we'd love to know how spring is unfolding where you are, so add your spring pictures to the and tell us what's going on in your neck of the woods.
