Starting with the next edition of See Hear on Wednesday 29th April,ÌýMemnos willÌýbe taking a weekly look at some of the stories behind our BSL signs. Many thanks to the Centre for Deaf Studies at the University of Bristol for their helpful suggestions with these items.Ìý

    I just watched the episode about the History of BSL on the iplayer. What is the difference between a compound and a multichannel sign? Great programme, thanks.

    it is so intersting to watch to see different context of signs like spain, usa. i wonder do they provide this in dvd or matrial of informations as i want to learn more abt it and itwould be very useful to show this example to deaf children (use it for teaching) shame abt see hear on weds not sat normally i am working on weds but off work at mo and glad to see it! pls let me know if is there any ways i cld use this materials for deaf children to learn and understanding more abt thier bsl thanku.

    I like to continue on Stories behind the signs....it helps us to understand why do they sign that way or where is it comes from? It would like to see some background of history that links to signs.
