T In The Park 2010 Line-up Announced

eminem.jpgSo I'm just back from the press launch for T In The Park 2010 where Festival Director Geoff Ellis did his annual big-up for all things T.

The big news is of course who's playing. Well this year there's a strong US hip hop contingent, with Eminem, Jay-Z and Black Eyed Peas 'reprazentin'. Co-headlining with Eminem are kings of the elaborate lightshow, Muse, and yes, Kasabian (not news really since we already knew that).

Take a look at Radio One's site for the full-ish line-up. I say full-ish, because there are many bands still to be announced on the smaller stages, not least our very own ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Introducing stage.

Incidentally, you can still watch last year's Introducing artists on our .

The Beeb will of course be there bringing you all the action. Watch this space...

Inverurie fiddler Dan Thorpe was crowned ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician 2010 last night in Glasgow's City Halls.

The contest was broadcast live on Radio Scotland, to a packed Celtic Connections audience in the spectacular Grand Hall.

We were there capturing all the action on camera, and you can watch video of the announcement and a track from Daniel above and a tune from each of the finalists on the Celtic Connections website.
