Hugh Sykes in Iraq....
You may have heard Hugh on PM, BH and the World this Weekend reporting on the Iraqi elections. As he waits for early results later this week, here are some impressions of life there through his camera lens:

The next photo and the 5 below were taken at a polling station in Najaf.
The next four were taken in a park in Baghdad, where a political rally was taking place late one afternoon.
And the following six are of soldiers and police who had a special voting day on Thursday.
