Where do YOUR sympathies lie?
I ask because we just got this email from Helen Bluemel:
I have no doubt that if these protesters had been Muslims complaining about innocent civilians dying every day in Palastine, Afghanistan or Iraq they would have been arrested under terror charges without delay.
It does indeed constitute an act of terrorism to obstruct and bring to a standstill one of the nation's main infrastructures. Why were they not removed by BAA? They were illegally on their property - it should have been easy. But the police could not even be bothered to stop the group from turning this into a publicity stunt for themselves (plane stupid - plain stupid indeed).
But not to worry, Lily Kember et al are sure to be bailed out by their parents' money. I have had enough of spoilt rich kids causing havoc, because they have no idea about the real world.
Climate change is a fact, yet air travel is a small contributor, they are missing the point and damaging the reputation of all climate campaigners.
