Ray Furlong writes: "This week we've been looking at renewable energies. In Germany, the renewable sector is booming - while ours is still in its nappies. Germany's success is largely due to a system called Feed-In Tariffs, where anyone can use renewables to generate electricity - and then sell it back to the energy companies for a guaranteed and inflated price."
