Anyhoo - we got this helpful email after one of our items last night...from Laurence Hooper: "Those who missed out on Magna Carta's brief foray at the Bodleian yesterday can see it for free and with minimal queuing in the John Ritblatt Gallery at the British Library, where one of the 17 surviving copies is on permanent display. Five minutes walk from Kings Cross St Pancras tube."

Nice to hear from Mr Blog yesterday, it'll be interesting to see the map that you guys come up with - I was however slightly concerned though by the definition you were using for the term "Mashup".
You implied that Mashup referred only to sticking pins on an internet map; in fact (and this definition comes from wikipedia so it *must* be true ;¬) ) "a mashup is a web application that combines data from more than one source into a single integrated tool".
It's true that a lot of Mashups do display cartographic information but this is not the be all and end all. For example is a nice way to find similar music artists on a graphical way - it gets it's data from Last.fm & Amazon

I miss the first half of PM but at 5.30 I am always in the kitchen getting the evening meal.
I have a wife who is disabled with Parkinson's so it falls to me to cook all the meals. The worst thing about it is deciding what to have,particularly for lunch.I hate lunches. Once the menu has been decided I get quite a kick getting the meal on the table on time.Recently I have turned my hand to cakes and I really enjoy doing this.I have just cooked the Christmas cake and am waiting to add the decorations.
Incidently what are HTML tags?
David (3) Your wife is a very lucky woman. She must be very proud of you. My biggest problem is never knowing what to cook for dinner - lunch is easy, as I love soup and sandwiches. You seem far more domesticated than I am!
According to the map, my location has changed very little since the 1940s, my house was built in 1799. My wife has MS, so I stay at home to care for her needs, including most of the cooking.
