So, Eric, is the iPM site going to be permanent, or just for the programmes?
Eddie you should try Twitter. It would keep us up to date on what you were up to 14 hours ago ;o)
Oh hell you've got me emoticonning now :o(
It's raining in Norwich by the way.
Whizz-bangy, Eddie? As long as it doesn't detract from the original Frog Blog, then okay....
I am sure that Robin's blog is technically excellent, but any web page that just keeps on loading little bits here and there for many seconds (on broadband) is not fit for purpose (like Twitter really). As an example of how not to do things, it is perfect.
If the iPM page is really going to be whizz-bangy then it needs to folow the simple rule of "Keep-It-Simple,-Stupid". Please, aim for speed and impact, not technicality.
FF - my thoughts exactly. Hate we froggers to be spreading ourselves thin (ick, nasty associations with Shippams).
Frances (1) it will be a stand alone thingy, and will run for the duration of the radio show - 7 weeks. Maybe a bit longer in the run up. Will make mention on air soon of a way all listeners can contribute BEFORE we start...
Cookie ? Cookie !
What would be wrong with having made an editorial decision to call the Blue Peter cat 'Biscuit' ?
That would have been quite legitimate in my own opinion !
*looks*
That's Sean Pertwee isn't it?
FF (3) and Witchiwoman (5):
Froggers are like things-that-might-come-in-useful and baby-poo: we expand to fill all available space.
Carl (2)..it was raining in Holt as well but stopped when I got back to Norwich!
Oooooooo - am I detecting a soon-to-be-incarnated Eastern-region PM branch office?? There's DIWyman and Carl and me for starters, and I think Belinda's up this way too . . . and Fifi (when she's not on hols) is just over the other side of the Wash . . . Who said regional radio was dead??
xx
LadyP
PS RJD we could make you an honorary member if you like x
Belinda is certainly up that way!
I can confirm that both Holt was raining and then wasn't, and that Norwich was spitting and then wasn't. The coast was nice and calm. Tyne, Dogger, Fisher, German Bight, Humber: southwesterly 4-5, moderate or rough, good, occasionally moderate.
LadyPen (10) - Lovely to see you again.
My accent is odd enough without adding on another region. :0)
I will gladly accept honorary membership though. Is there a special tie or handshake or anything like that?
Lady P (10) And there's Humph, too, to add to your list of East Angulars!
I was wondering whether I should go off in a huff because LadyPen doesn't want me to be a member of the Eastern-region PM branch office. I decided against it, in the end. Welcome back, LadyPen, it is good to hear from you again.
H.
Welcome back LadyPen (10). I'm Eastern too -- just a lot further up...
Carl (2) "you've got me emoticonning now"
Yet more evidence that there is no noun that cannot be "verbed" nowadays... :-)
Thank you, all . .. so lovely to BE back. Eventful year so far . . . working with inspirational people all on a mission for the greater good, falling in love with son's best friend (not reciprocated but hey), all the GYMs (remember them?) going through their own crises and becoming part of the family . . . Am privileged (sp?) to be welcomed into so many fascinating people's lives. Not much time to blog inbetweenwhiles tho . . .
Appy (15): eastern is eastern, no matter how far up it is. :-)
RJD (12): will e you, you lovely person. I started to yesterday then got sidetracked (am easily distracted these days). We can accommodate accents . . . do you do Geordie as well? I think Regina Spektor is awesome, btw . . .
Humph (14): no need to sulk. You can be a founder member if you like :-)
Belinda (11): lovely to see you. Are you well?
Am currently playing all my music at full volume and wish you could hear it too. Funny how when you put together stuff you haven't heard for ages it all sounds like magic.

I think I'll try an Aperititif 'Poosh'!
So what happened to the message that I tried to 'poosh' through to LadyPen? Can't even remember what I said in it, but I'm sure it was scintillatingly witty, insightful and that the Blog is all the poorer for it not appearing!
RJD (18) : I think your missing message must have slipped down the back of the PM sofa, along with ValP's Window on Your World and her various straplines.
An Eastern Branch Office is a lovely idea, LadyPen (and great to see you, by the way. Unrequited Love clearly suits you!), and I would be honoured to be included if you are happy to reach this far into the wild West.
Eddie, I agree with the others: forget whizz-bangy. We would like unadulterated whizz instead ... rapid postings!
Fifi ;o)
