Valery P -
You sent three postcards and so far two have arrived. We're watching the mail like Donald Rumsfelds. This first one is for the Beach - "to keep us amused post Millennium Blog Party?"
While this one features my namesake....thank you Valery
And a card arrives from Kim, inspired, I guess, by an item we trailed but dropped the other day...because of Mr Rumsfeld.
Well, well, well!
Now we see the reward for (im)patience"!
A whole blog to your name! Exceeding Patricia's achievement. What next?

Congratulations Valery P on not only having two postcards posted on the frog, but also having your name up in lights!
I see Valery and I share a love of the pointless and unnecessary postcards of Simon Drew.
Good girl!
I think you may be deemed 'redeemed', Sir Eric.
Val - at last! So happy for you.
Fifi - that makes three of us. See the Dodo/Don't Don't postcard.
ValP I love the cards:-)
Anne P (5): I did think it looked familiar!
The trouble with Simon Drew is, I never want to part with the postcards to send them anywhere.
I wonder if he was the inspiration for Eddie's name for the postcards thingy... seems too big a coincidence.
;o)
Yeeeehaaaw!
But there will be no living with her now!!!!!
Yaaay!!

So glad that persistence had its reward, but sad not to see the original Donkey Hat / Donkey Hote / Don Quixote or whatever it was that went missing.
Big virtual hug and congrats (at last).
Si.
Way to go, Valery P!! Top cards.
Of course, we probably can't expect any more contributions from her - moving on to better things...
Well done.
I have spotted four of the seven wines, but won’t spoil it for you.
I really don't fancy a glass of beauchinegg, nor plankhoe. I'm back to the beach and real lubrication.
Hee Haw indeed! Forget the dead donkey. I've just returned from a wet and frustrating day with TD, searching for a Ball Gown (for her, froggers, not for me!).
Eddie - this has made my day, no, no it's made my year! I shall have to email all the friends who I have bored with frogtales over the last 3 months, and show them what they are missing! Not to mention the scoffing S.O. (He has taken this very well, and sends his regards to all, finally)
This and a personal email from Fifi too. Congrats on getting your Archers post read out, though I don't think they chose an appropriate voice?
Oh, Oh, I really can't get over this. Just about to head out to the Local, and now I don't want to go and leave you guys. Still, you'll be here later won't you? Drinks are on me at the Beach later (has anyone had a go at the Card yet?)
I'm fa-mous, I'm fa-mous, I'm fa-mous etc
Perhaps that last post was a little hysterical, accept my apologies if so. Gosh, I'm so chuffed this is ridiculous.....
Thanks to all for your kind comments, I'm so touched, and don't worry, I won't go on to thank the producer, director etc as this isn't an Oscar acceptance. Bl**dy hell it feels like it though!
Dr. Hax; I'm up to five. The first five. Having trouble identifying the creature at start of number six, And also what has happened in number seven.
Si.
Well done Val P. Not got all the wines yet.
Yet another blog read out Fifi, I hope Aperitif isn't too green this evening.
Off to chill on the beach.
Val - This will be something to tell the grandchildren about.
Hope you had a good time at your local..not too many celebratory wine gums I trust.
Well done indeed!
Well done Valerie, and may I say what lovely cards, especially like the beach but as for the 'perfect swing' -- Pointless!
Oh and the three blind mice Kim -- very clever - where you a whole day in Clinton cards or where you being clever with the gloy glue and the printer ;-)
Valery, WOW! Well done and congratulations. And Fifi - I was driving at the time and I took a little celebratory swerve (tbh, it wasn't entirely deliberate, but I digress...)
Your happiness and pride are deserved and I am pleased for you both, but would you be at all surprised if I were to venture that I might cry myself to sleep tonight?
WAAAAAGGHHHH! When's he gonna talk to me?!?!
In happiness and envy in equal measure,
A, x.
Eddie, how can you even think of snubbing Aperitif? We have a fan club for her, and everything.
Hey Kippenbod, welcome and thanks for joining us. Told you it would be worth it! The wine gums were well absorbed by a good meal....
Wow, Valery! I'll get out the Minnie Mouse shoes to celebrate.
Appy, your day will come. I'm sure of it.
btw, how do I get to the legendary Beach? I can't find my PMap
Thanks Doc and Frances.
Frances - go to day one (if there's no link available on 'recent comments' use the calendar to click back to August 17th). I'll make you a strawberry bellini when you get there!
Welcome, Kippenbod! Always good to see new faces around here.
If it's not too personal a question, are you so called because you hail from Kippen? Lovely place. :o)
Aperitif - I don't know what's the matter with Eddie. I bet you're emailing better comments than most. Although some days, I notice he doesn't read out anything, either email or blog.
Keep at it girl. You'll get there in the end. Now, back to the beach with us, and rehearsals for the first appearance of AperitiFifi! (What shall we wear??)
Frances O, I woke up thinking about those shoes this morning, I'm going to dig mine out now. See you on the number e bus. I think Stephen Strop Leader must have emigrated to Pluto though, as he's been so quiet recently? Or busy?
Valery, I've got my ticket.
Stephen has been a bit quiet lately, but I've seen a couple of posts from him. Perhaps he's busy on Pluto - Parliament is sitting, or soemthing.
Perhaps indeed Frances.
Fifi - yes Kippenbod hails from Kippen. Well done you. ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ of the largest grape vine....
Aperitif - I enjoyed your photos, ta ;o)
I give up. We have:
1 Beaujolais
2 Bordeaux
3 Chianti
4 Ice Burgundy
5 Lambrusco
6 ?
7 ?
No 6 has me puzzled, too. There is a 'hostelry' nearby called the Rat and Parrot (I think it's one of those Firkin-type chain jobs) but violin/viola doesn't fit, though perhaps it serves Bass
Hi Fifi
Thank you for the welcome; glad you like the village and yes, I do live in Kippen. As we say in this neck of the woods we're 'Oot o' the world and intae Kippen' Of course none of us choochters (sp?) get out a lot up here!
KB
Kippenbod - I think you'll find that's teuchters!!! Lol! Welcome Friend, so I finally ground you down eh? Aren't we a charming lot though, and so addictive?
Have you been to the beach on Day One yet (takes ages to load but it's worth it), I'll chill you a cerveza and we can drink to happy holidays?
Doc H - I rather suspect no 6 is after my own heart, Valpolicello??? (though I can't get Val from Rat, maybe it's a vole?)
Wow. Excellent cards; isn't it quiet here on a Saturday?
Not half as quiet as on Sunday!
Jonnie (18) no Gloy - a genuine card I picked up in Paris ' les souris rocking' and although it's incorrectly attributed that's because of my writing. And since no-one will ever read this as you've all moved on, I've had three cards published. Tee hee, I knew collecting weird p.c's would come in handy one day.Have a good Sunday all.

Hi KitT, you're wrong - We often move back and forth to check up on what's been happening!
Hi KitT,
I'll echo Valery P's sentiments, you're never alone, we'll track you down.
regards
Brian
That sounds a tad ominous?
Absolutely, KitT, never think we're not watching, reading, & remembering, because we are, oh yes. You're not alone, however late it is. And anything you type may turn up days later on another thread. (Or maybe that's just me, forgetting where I posted...)
Annasee, I think they like to shift them around to keep us on our toes. Sunday was very odd, an early one of mine on the beach never turned up either.
I'm stuck on no.7. Anyone got it yet?
Valery, Did the wine postcard not have the answers on the back? And did you not keep a note of them? I don't like a quiz where no-one knows the answers!
Aps - no, inconveniently enough, it didn't. Anyone else get No 7 yet?
Oh how annoying!
My best guess is Zinfindel.
