Every week I have a record of the week on my show that I call my Jam Hot and this week it's the last Jam Hot of 2008 so I've literally gone to the other side of the world to bring you this record - a great slab of New Zealand R&B courtesy of DJ/Producer P Money featuring Vince Harder called "Everything" and I love it. When released in New Zealand, it spent 3 weeks at #1 in their main chart and is now certified platinum - pretty good for a digital only release!
is an award winning DJ and Producer from New Zealand who has released 4 albums since 2002 and has produced tracks for a number of International and New Zealand based artists. Check his blog (good reading!)
is a Samoan actor and singer who was in the Australian X Factor in 2005 and also has played Simba in the Oz version of 'The Lion King' musical. The man has got a really good voice and is doing well down under.
The record itself was put on my radar thanks to my man Zane Lowe at Radio 1 (cheers Zipper!) but it currently has no UK label or release schedule - you can however buy it on your favourite fruit based tune download system!

Sway was unveiled as my Artist of The Year 2008 last week (if you missed the video of me chatting about Sway, check it here) and as if to prove my points, this week sees the release of the HUGE video for Silver & Gold - his next single and collaboration with multi-platinum selling Senegalese giant of black music - Akon:
Gwan Sway, big tings to come from him in '09 - memba I told ya!

Finally, the funky house anthem that is Do You Mind is getting released! 26th January it will see the light of day and random girls in clubs who ask me to play "that record that goes the whole night" will hopefully finally learn the title.
Shouts to Trenchtown Target for putting me up on this - new Funky tune that is completely destroying everything right now and guess what...it's got it's own dance!!
You can do the head, shoulders, knees and toes dance however you wish. I feel another MistaJam dance video coming on...
New vids from the Stryderman for his new single 'Take Me Back' - one of a slew of hot records due to be released on my birthday (January 19th and yes, I expect a gift)
Also features vocals from the one and only Taio Cruz. In case you missed it,
I'm back on 1Xtra tonight after a three week break and that means I'm back with another monster Jam Hot record of the week and as the weather is ridiculously cold, it's only right I choose a winter warmer for you to kick off December so this week's Jam Hot comes from D&B Dons Artificial Intelligence "Days Of Rage"
• Hailing from North London, Artificial Intelligence are a production duo comprising of Gambit and Glenn.
• They've been in the game for well over a decade and their productions span all sides of the Drum and Bass spectrum.
• You can tell the pedigree of a D&B outfit by which labels they've worked with and AI's back catalogue has seen them collaborate with labels such as Commercial Suicide, 31 Record, Full Cycle, LTJ Bukem's Goodlooking, DJ Marky's Innerground and CIA as well as their own label 'Integral'
• 2009 sees them releasing on the legendary V Recordings label when this record finally sees the light of day in February.
• It's currently being hammered by the cream of the Drum and Bass scene and beyond - Bailey, Crissy Criss, Fabio, Grooverider, Annie Mac and Zane Lowe are also believers however it was first played on my 1Xtra show as an exclusive by the AI boys themselves when they were in the guest mix hot seat back in September!
Don't forget, if you want to hear the Jam Hot first, check me out on Radio 1 and catch me on 1Xtra every weekday for your daily Jam Hot fix.
