We're planning a revamp of the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio Scotland website next month and, among other things, we want to make it easier for listeners to find the programmes that we make for other ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ radio networks.
That includes drama, features and readings for ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 4, Jazz and Classical music programmes for ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 3, Vic Galloway on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 1 and so on.
The Aberdeen team who produced our recent Digging Up You Roots series are making a similar series for ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 4 called Tracing Your Roots. In Inverness, the team who produced Dad Made Me Laugh are looking forward to hearing the series aired on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ 7. That starts on Monday.
What we're finding is that more and more listeners are selecting programmes they like from the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio Player and using the seven day Listen Again function. To that extent, they care more about finding programmes that suit their tastes than having an allegiance to a particular radio station.
We're also planning a Made In Scotland series where we'll showcase some of this output on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio Scotland.
