Chris Keates, general secretary of the , said: "This report and its recommendations take a rather simplistic view of a complex problem.Nothing in the report warrants a conclusion that permanent exclusion should be abolished."
What do you think of the report's proposals? Does exclusion work? How should difficult pupils be dealt with?

But, after Mr Cameron acknowledged his party faced a "real fight". Labour said voters would find the speech "wanting" for substance.

Hosting the cross-party talks, but Republicans said it was not acceptable and
Mr Obama wants to expand healthcare coverage to include millions of uninsured Americans, but Republicans say that the country cannot afford the plans and they want him to start again from scratch.
What next for Mr Obama's health plan? Do you think it should progress as it is or do you think, as proposed by Republicans, that it should be scrapped and reworked? Would you benefit from new healthcare legislation in the US or should it stay as it is?

. Do you think the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ needs to downsize?
Broadcasting union Bectu and the National Union of Journalists fear up to 600 jobs could be lost after it was announced that the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ website would be scaled back, and 6 Music and Asian Network faced closure.
Mr Thompson says compulsory redundancy would be kept to a minimum. The plans are to go through public consultation.
Do you agree the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ needs to review some of its output? Are these the right areas to target, or should others be addressed first? What programmes and services do you value most?

. Should this material be regulated?
A warns that children are increasingly exposed to material that their parents don't know about, and calls for tougher regulation of sexual imagery.
Games consoles and mobiles should be barred from accessing adult material to limit children's exposure to sexual imagery.
Report author Dr Linda Papadopoulos also said there was a clear link between sexualised imagery and violence towards girls.
Do you think children are exposed to ever increasing amounts of sexual imagery? Are you a parent who is worried about this? Would you welcome stricter controls on adverts, computer games and mobile phone content?

How damaging is the bullying allegation to Gordon Brown and the Labour Party in the run up to a general election?
Is it conceivable that "the forces of hell" were unleashed against Alastair Darling from Number 10 without Gordon Brown's knowledge or consent?
Are Nigel Farage's rude and attention seeking remarks about the new President of the European Council conclusive proof that he and UKIP have become a boorish national embarrassment?
Should RBS pay 1.3 billion pounds in bonuses when they lost £3.6 billion last year?
Was Ed Balls right to amend the Children's, Schools & Families Bill to allow faith schools to teach sex education in a way that reflects their beliefs?
Shouldn't John Terry be the one stepping down from the England team, not Wayne Bridge?

since the devastating attacks on the Indian city of Mumbai (Bombay) at the end of 2008. Will they make a difference?
After the talks, India's Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao said that it has taken a "first step" towards rebuilding trust with Pakistan and that the two sides had agreed to remain in touch.
Although no major breakthrough was expected, correspondents say this meeting could eventually pave the way for the resumption of the formal peace process broken off after the 2008 Mumbai attacks in which 174 people were killed, nine of them gunmen.
Are you in Pakistan or India? Is it a good sign that the countries are talking? Or do recent arguments over Kashmir suggest there is little hope for progress?
. Should he retake power?
Mr Yar'Adua's state of health is unclear, and it is not known whether he wants to return to his post. Nigerians have been questioning whether or not the 58-year-old is fit enough to govern.
In his absence, the country's political elite has been consumed by a power struggle. Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan has been reshuffling ministers, pledging to tackle power shortages and forging ahead with an amnesty for militants in the oil-rich Niger Delta.
How do you feel about President Yar'Adua's return? Should he retake power? What questions does he need to answer first? How has his absence affected Nigeria? And what does the future hold for the country?
. Should the Three Rs be replaced?
The £4.5bn strategy was the backbone of Labour's school reforms in England. But teachers' unions have complained of too much government meddling during implementation - a claim which is backed up by a new report.
Ofsted says schools have suffered because of the "frequent introduction of initiatives, materials and guidance" which led to "overload" and diminished the effectiveness of each initiative. The government said it was not sorry for focusing on the Three Rs.
What do you think of the Three Rs? What three words do you think sum up the key to a good education? Do you have a child at primary school? Has the education system improved recently?
