    Ha Ha.
Too right your going to be looking for your lost listeners. Maybe you can actually be nice to your listeners now your actually loosing your job.

Start acting like a professional radio personality and actually try interacting with your listeners instead of this stupid egotistic attitude of yours Chris.

As a young radio personality myself I find it very frustrating to see you waste all of your success.

Sorry but i have heard this from so many people and i had to inform you.

    Some parts i love
    Some are just embarrassing

    Regards,
    Dan

Chris and the team, keep doing what you're doing and don't listen to idiots like the one who has posted on here first-yes it's their opinion but we love you doing what you're doing and changing that would make us switch off. It's the 500,000 people who have switched off that are losing out!!! Please don't change!!!

To the Chris Moyles show team.
I have a fair explaination to the missing listener problem.

As the summer holiday has now begun for schools around the UK more and more kids are enjoying the fact that they don't have to get up in the morning. As a dedicated listener but also a school goer I can say that I have found myself waking up later than usual and not turning on the radio, which is, of course, tuned to radio 1, but instead heading straight for the shower or the comfort of television. I often sleep over the show's time slot, waking up often around mid-day.
At least a million of your listeners are school kids like me, but due to the summer holidays they now need no radio wake up call. I hope this message may have produced a small insight into the answer to you're problem.

I think the 500,00 listeners you have lost aren't lost at all...they have fallen asleep at the computer watching Dom's video! As for that "radio personality" he can start giving advice when he has an international show of his own, and I love when you slag off those dippy listners becasue quick frankly they deserve it :D

Its my first day on my summer holidays and i tuned in at 6:30 as normal. Great show today guys!! Can't think where your listeners have gone-maybe they died?? Remember there are millions of us out there who are still faithful listeners

    P.S Don't blame Aled- He's lovely

500,000 listeners have gone, eh? It'd be nice to see the rest of the stats - I know I've only been listening a year, but the alarm goes off at 6.30 and from there, through the shower, downstairs for breakfast then on my mobile phone, and finally RealPlayer at work, I listen to the show right through to the Jo Whiley banter.

It's all about the 3hr 29 build up to the strings - you gotta listen to it all (except the 90 seconds when the train goes into the tunnel at Queen St. station).

In all seriousness, you said Wogan was down too - my bet is that this is the iPlayer effect. People now know (more so than ever) that they can listen again and that will undoubtedly reduce "live" listeners.

    (begin rant)

If you're looking for the one thing that's a turn off from me (and, incidentally the thing that got us back to R1 from Clyde 1), it's phone pranks. I'll let Scott/Chappers off with the making Dave talk to himself one, but the rest just have me reaching for the dial/power button.

    (end rant)

Anyway, long way of saying "Keep up the good work"!!

Don't worry its just the skool hols or summit daft.

Can't be the show cos it is fab, brill, great.

Mind you since I have recently kind of lost my job I'm not listening as often now!! Sorry!

    Hey ho

  • Comment number 9.

Do you all think that maybe they (your missing listeners) moved here to America? I listen to you through Sirius Satellite Radio.

    Hello CMS

    Suzanne

  • Comment number 10.

Maybe those listeners are on holidays? as you know, being summer break and all.

I would tune in if I could, but Australia does nothing to help. Podcasts for the win!

Chris and the team, the people of dublin love you. it's so much better than the crap churned out by the local radio stations over here. You should do a broadcast over here and show the local stations how its done.Watched Dom's video and it's boring but loved Carrie's exclamation video blog. Anyway keep up the good work and don't mind the begrudgers, they can go back to Snooze FM.
