It's been a bit of an up-and-down week since I last blogged. Most of you will be aware that Annan Athletic will remain in the Third Division next season after losing .

Our 2-1 victory in the second leg wasn't enough to turn the tie around after our 3-1 defeat at Cliftonhill four days earlier.

We were already facing a difficult task before Albion skipper Ciaran Donnelly put them further ahead at Galabank and although we bombarded them in the second half, we unfortunately just gave ourselves too much to do.

I couldn't make it but I managed to stay at the club for a couple of hours with the team and the supporters to celebrate what we had achieved.
