Annan chase elusive league win

It's a bit of an understatement to say that we have had a very poor start to the season.

The statistics of , , and with five conceded doesn't make for good reading.

We have put together a little cup run but I'm sure everyone at the club would gladly swap those victories for two league wins and six points on the board.

Things can change quickly in football

Well, I hope no-one took any of their betting tips from me last week.

I got both results wrong where Scotland and Annan were concerned, but on the upside, not only was I back in the 16-man squad, .

It really is amazing how things can change so quickly in football. As little as five days ago I was wondering whether I would make another appearance for the club.

This morning I'm looking forward to a after a last-minute win against East Stirlingshire the night before.

Frustrating time for Annan midfielder

Well, I think that Saturday was probably the most disappointed I've been for a long, long time while I've been at Annan Athletic.

It's not very nice finding out that you're not in the squad of 16 players less than one hour before kick-off.

Well, I have to say, football aside, the boys had a really good .

The club put us up in a fantastic hotel for the night. So fantastic, in fact, that I asked the chairman if he had booked the wrong one.

The facilities were great and the boys even managed to get a round of in before the game on Saturday morning.
