A final thought; we had a real job finding a Christmassy background for the link into our third film about Charles Dickens. As you'll see in my previous blog Billingham is a really friendly place but might just be in line for the title of Britain's least festive town.
Admittedly I was there a couple of weeks ago - but whilst other towns centres were busy putting up their decorations Billingham was devoid of any public yuletide spirit. I've double checked and nothing seems to have changed.
If it hadn't been for one Santa-friendly shop that had put some effort into a festive window display I would have been stymied. !
