Let's get physical...
If you are looking to get in shape for Christmas then this is the show for you. I'll be looking for the tracks that you use to work out to.
We'll start with a bit of a warm-up, raise the tempo as we get to the hardest bit of our workout and then finish with a 20 minute cool down. (There will of course be a break during the 7pm news to allow you to get a drink and towel yourself down.)
Stick with me and you will end up with perfect pecs, awesome abs and top tunes.

its not an exercise thing.
its a spiritual experience.
thats why my favourite gym is 'nature's gym'.
it could be a 6 mile circuit that takes in sounds like the corncrake, kittiwakes, screeching tern, the sound of a distant tractor, the sound and comforting feel of the ever constant wind.......any plugged in sound pointless and sacrilige in such an environment.
tire of that workout and it could be to the beach and a barefoot stretch of desolate strand is accompanied by the crash of atlantic waves and stepehenson's lighthouse 12 miles out flashing its warning light with the sun dipping into the north horizon, dog yapping at the ankles......any electronic sound pollution would be a crime against nature.
like this song, the pace gentle and steady, your feet firmly grounded.......
'gravity'........................embrace

I cycle (rather than go to the gym) with the ipod plugged in.
I listen to whatever comes up on shuffle: It's all over the place.
But for a soull boy such as Paulo and a great gym record:
Keep On Truckin - Eddie Kendricks
or
Fever - Sarah Vaughan Verve Remix:
Warm Down: Lemon Tree - Thievery Corporation/Herb Alpert
Beloved - Anouska Shankar
Chill: Cars - The Leisure Society
Faith Healer The Big Dish
Alexandra Leaving - Leonard Cohen

I was so gobsmacked by the beauty of it, I had to pull the car over and listen it properly a couple of times before driving off again. Utterly magnificent record but as a theme idea...
