Yesterday we thought we had beef.. it was nothing compared to
TOPS OF THE SHOPS WITH JO WHILEY.
Forever fashing it up... I'm hopping between the catwalk and the wearable, trying to combine the tips from trendsetters, working out whatÌýwould be best to save for and what we can afford right now with our pocket money!

Another London Fashion Week has come to an end. A climax has been reached, as I mop my sweaty, ravaged brow, I try to write you my synopsis that doesn't go on forever and ever. Because though fashion week only lasts a few days (not even a full week) the one that just passed was the 25th anniversary of LFW. Trust me, I feel like I've aged 25 years too...
.. (btw, the schedule doesn't include the parties, presentations, exhibitions and general media scrum)...
FRI 18TH SEPTEMBER 2009:
Had tickets for Sass & Bide and , *BUT* other commitments led me down the path of fashion guilt and I didn't make either of the shows that day. I was especially tormented by not going too Aminaka Wilmont because I watched the design duo win the (a prestigious and fierce competition for upcoming designers, chaired by Donatella Versace) back in September fashion week 2007 and I have been a dedicated follower ever since. Then I saw these leggings online from Sass & Bide show and I anxiously bit my finger because I wanted them so much.
SAT 19TH SEPTEMBER 2009:
So the guilt of not attending on Friday, awoke me bright and early, and ready for a fashion onslaught armoured with leather jacket designed by , High waisted Vivienne Westwood trousers, and some spice girlesque gigantic platforms from 90's archive, I arrived at the Royal Festival Hall on London's Southbank with well turned out girlfriend's in tow for 'Blow Presents'. An Off Schedule show (Off schedule = mainly newer designers, independantly funded), showcasing a selection of designers full of promise and future. I proceeded to be slightly nauseated by the genius of 'hair innovator/ stylist / designer' , Charlie Le Mindu, for goodness. sake..
The steel pointy boob action of , had my friend and I stroking chins and wondering whether had been an inspiration...

If I'm honest i'm in a mad rush, but to find out about a workshop that I ran with some fashionable kidsÌýand how Erin O' Connor rocked the rest of my afternoon that Saturday plus why was I shaking when I woke up on Sunday, I lost my camera, got kicked off the front row and had a moment of desperation with the gorgeous Luisa de Paula buying director of and the rest of my fashion week shennigans... Then you'll have to wait till Monday when i'm back at work and recovered (I'm back on the breakfast show with Trev from Monday)!
BASICALLY to be ct'd...
In the meantime click on all the links... above, PLUS is the idea of ill and under fed models freaks you the hell out then please click on this one too.. It's quite reveloutionary for the fashion industry right now!

P.S I'm popping into Jo Whiley's brand new weekend show to take part in a feature called 'Top of the Shops' this Saturday 26th Sept around 1.20pm if ya interested in more LFW goss...

The troublemakers of Breakfast Ace & Vis met up with Colin Morgan and Angel Coulby of the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ's hit show Merlin, back for a second series this weekend.
They tried to find out :
are all actors liars?
did they get a real dragon from London Zoo to be in the show?
who's more magic : Merlin or Derren Brown?

Time to CONGRATULATE Mr Moyles...
Not only does he present one of the biggest radio show's in the country, or Climb Mount Kilmanjaro for Comic Relief, or rouses the media and public into passionate opinion.. He's been doing it longer then anyone ever has on the Radio 1 Breakfast show! I salute him...
To celebrate he went on a karaoke tour of the country in this bus...
and it brought back some memories..
Differences between the buses are as follows...
RADIO 1 TOUR BUS:
Sophisticated brandingÌýÌý
Everybody slept in the bunks
Black, white and grey sleek interior
Clean
1XTRA BREAKFAST TOUR BUS:
Mine & Trev's cheesy grins
Only I was brave enough to sleep in a bunk
Deep red velvet interior (slightly shabby)
Wrappers, bottles + crumbs

Gem went to meet two lovely ladies who star in new girlie-slasher movie Sorority Row : Rumer Willis (daughter of Bruce & Demi) and Briana Evigan.
You can hear Gem's interview with Rumer on Thursday Breakfast. (Scroll 2 hours 10 mins into the show)
After the gossiping was over i took some pix of Gem with Rumer & Briana. On further inspection i spotted that as soon as the camera came out these girls turned into posing machines. Check this out....
Snap : straight backs, tilted faces, sparkly eyes, hair over one shoulder, loads of teeth - this is how to do it!!!! Practise this look and no more dodgy facebook moments for any of us :-)
Not sure bout Trevor's shirt this morning.. I think it's length of the sleeves - if you look at the right sleeve you'll see what I mean, it's just not quite short sleeved enough. I think theÌýleft sleeve rolled up works a bit better? What do you think?

p.s Told you I was breakfast boogieing on the chair this morning. Boogie with same time tomorrow (look at clock!)...

Jazmine Sullivan sauntered into our studio this morning, putting my Monday morning look very much to shame. Urmmmm look at those shoes... urmmm look at those impeccable nails! Listen to the show!
I ran away from the Weakest Link going out on primetime this weekend by going to an obscure festival and danced around in sparkly pants when lodsa girls stormed the set of

Hey folks thats me in my Ibiza disguise during the last week of my residency at Pacha. It was too hot that week and so were the parties this summer.
Despite the credit crunch amazingly hundreds of thousands still descended on the isle and the best gigs were as big as ever. I played the sunset session at Mambo and instead of the regular ambient house music we mashed the place up with classic hip hop, dancehall and rnb, It was the highlight of my summer. Later that evening all roads led to one of the best nights in Pacha with Aston and Marvin from JLS trying to bust some moves (they are lucky I had to dj). Props to David Guetta for running the biggest night in Pacha this year.
I will be back there next year celebrating my 8th birthday....

It has recently come to our attention that the Daily Star believe that Gracious K invented the Nelson Skank - and not our very own Gracious Gemma Cairney.
We're not mad at Gracious tho - who else could make an entire street in Notting Hill do this???
***NEWS JUST IN*** The has landed and its pretty tidy!!! Look out for Trev n Gem (err are they actually doing in the Nelson Skank instead???) alongside Chipmunk, Ironik, Bashy, Giggs, Ace & Vis.... bascially EVERYONE.

I love this pic! These girl's were looking so great, their colour coordination is a feast for the eyes. Plus ten points for effort becaase they travelled from Huddersfield to Leeds especially for Carnival... and I know why cos Leeds offers a traditional twist on proper carnival vibes. Plus..
Did you know that: Leeds Carnival was created before Notting Hill.
