Title: Plant more trees

After writing an essay for college about eco and ethically friendly fashion, I have become much more aware and interested in the issues in fashion; getting books from the library on the issues. I found that the title of the collection 'Bricks and Branches' an interesting concept. I wanted to promote eco and green issues in my design and felt that the branches section of the design title could incorporate that. I chose to show strong looking buildings overgrown with plants and use the slogan 'Plant more trees'. This was because it shows how strong the environment is but how there are so many buildings that there is less and less room for the plants to grow. By having trees overcoming the buildings I think that it shows how important the issue is that vital land is being used for unnecessary buildings. If my design were to be in colour I would have liked the buildings to be in really dull colours and have plants in beautiful bright colours.
