Title: the explosion of life

this is a floral study of a blossoming 'iris'. The technique is one which I have developed from Sandra Maze(watercolour and pen), I have added pastel and the subject matter is also my own. I feel the technique sompliments the explosive, advancing process of growth in which the flower undertakes as I juxtapose complimentary coloured lines as I outline the delicate use of watercolour.
