Running time: 5mins. Year of production: 2010. Credits: Richard (Narrative), Michal and Muzzammil (Camera and Sound), Tariro (Editing), Jamie (Music). Unstill Waters tells the story at the very heart of the Thames Festival; that of the river itself. The film follows the journey of the people involved in masterminding the two events which take over the Thames for the festival weekend: the River Parade and the Thames Revival. The River Parade sees a 2-tonne bell being precariously loaded onto a tiny tug boat and ringing out up and down the river, whilst the Thames Revival gives the public the chance to see some beautiful and unbelievable boats all in one place – including one made from cardboard which travelled all the way from Holland!
Comments
A small error in the introductory text - it was not a 2 tonne bell but a 2 tonne belfry.
