Title: Row on Row
by Robbie from Scotland | in writing, poetry
Row on row, room on room
School on school- the weekend looms
And from it all, what does come?
Not a thing that they have done
Life support is plugged deep in
Pumping music deep within
Whatever this weeks number is
Fake creativity is what's in
Just like sound their life will pass
They'll leave the camp and realise at last
Some will fall, and some will stand
But most will die and cry at last
For when they die they'll wonder why
They just can't make it though they try
Most of the things I write- lyrics and poems, have been influenced mostly by my favourite songwriters. I'd like to write lyrics half as good as the likes of Neil Young, Ben Harper, Bruce Springsteen, Pete Townshend, Morrissey, etc.
