Title: Below The Surface

by Emily I from Staffordshire | in writing, poetry

Below the surface,
There's memories, thoughts and fears,
Nobody knows,
How I've cried these tears.

Below the surface,
Are Secrets locked safe away,
Bottled inside,
And there they'll stay.

Below the surface,
I'm slowly falling apart.
Will someone save
My fast dying heart?

I was inspired by the fact that I realised that everyone has secrets that they don't tell anyone, including me, so I wrote this poem.
